Possible Causes
Incorrect time-of-day or regeneration time, meter not counting flow, day override disabled or mis-set, control in vacation or bypass mode
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No internal work is required for basic checks; unplug only if removing covers.
- Verify time and regen time: Set the correct time-of-day and desired regeneration time (e.g., 2:00 AM) on the Fleck control.
- Check meter function: Run water in the house and watch the display. On metered models, the remaining capacity or flow indicator should change. If not, troubleshoot the meter (see flow meter fault).
- Review programming: Ensure the control is set to metered or time clock mode as intended, and that day override is not set to 0 (disabled) if you rely on it.
- Confirm not in bypass: Make sure the Fleck bypass is in the service position and that the control is not in a vacation/hold mode.
