Possible Causes
Refill valve blocked, Injector assembly clogged, Control valve not switching to refill position, Low inlet pressure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and close inlet valve before disassembly.
- Check water pressure: Confirm that inlet pressure meets Grünbeck's minimum requirement.
- Inspect refill line: Follow the small line from the valve head to the brine tank. Ensure it is not kinked or blocked.
- Clean injector and refill orifice: Remove and clean the injector and any refill restrictor orifice according to the manual.
- Test refill: After reassembly, start a manual regeneration and observe whether water enters the brine tank during the refill phase. If not, the internal refill valve in the head may be defective and require professional service.
