Possible Causes
Moisture ingress into control panel, Worn keypad contacts, Loose ribbon cable, Control PCB fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before opening the control housing.
- Dry panel: If condensation or splashes have reached the panel, allow it to dry completely. Do not use heat sources that could deform plastic.
- Check ribbon cable: Open the housing and ensure the keypad ribbon cable is firmly seated on the PCB.
- Test individual keys: In the service menu (if accessible), test each key. Non-functioning keys may indicate a defective keypad membrane.
- Replace keypad or PCB: If cleaning and reseating do not help, replace the keypad assembly or the entire control PCB as per Grünbeck parts list.
