Possible Causes
Leaking valve head O-rings, Cracked brine tank or hoses, Loose union connections, Activated leak sensor in base tray
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power immediately and close the inlet valve. Protect surrounding areas from water damage.
- Inspect base tray: Remove the front cover and check for water in the base tray. Carefully dry the tray and the leak sensor with absorbent cloths.
- Locate leak source: Check all visible connections: inlet/outlet unions, bypass valve, brine hose connections, and the valve head. Look for drips or salt traces.
- Tighten and reseal: Gently tighten union nuts. Replace flat or damaged O-rings and seals on leaking connections. Do not overtighten plastic fittings.
- Check brine tank: Inspect the brine tank for cracks, especially around the outlet fitting and float assembly. Replace the tank if damaged.
- Test for further leaks: Open the inlet valve slowly while observing all joints. If no leaks appear, restore power and reset the leak alarm in the menu. Persistent leaks require professional service.
