Possible Causes
Faulty pressure sensor (if equipped), Blocked inlet screen, Incorrect plumbing causing low pressure, Wiring fault to pressure transducer
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off water and power before removing inlet fittings.
- Verify household pressure: Use a pressure gauge on a nearby tap to confirm adequate supply pressure (typically 2–8 bar). If pressure is low, resolve upstream issues first.
- Clean inlet screen: Disconnect the inlet union at the Hansgrohe softener head. Remove and rinse the inlet filter screen to clear sediment or debris.
- Inspect pressure sensor: If your model has a pressure transducer on the inlet, check its connector for corrosion or loose fit. Reseat the plug.
- Check for kinks: Ensure flexible hoses to the softener are not kinked or collapsed.
- Test sensor (if accessible): With a multimeter and reference to Hansgrohe specs, verify that the sensor output changes with pressure. Replace the pressure sensor if readings are out of range or absent.
