Possible Causes

Failed NTC temperature sensor, Sensor wiring damaged by heat or moisture, Sensor dislodged from valve body, Control board input fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect power. Allow any hot plumbing to cool before touching.

  • Locate sensor: Identify the NTC temperature sensor on the Hansgrohe valve body or inlet manifold. It is usually a small probe with two wires.
  • Check mounting: Ensure the sensor is properly seated in its well or clipped to the pipe. Refit if loose.
  • Inspect wiring: Look for nicks, crushed insulation, or corrosion at the connector. Repair or replace damaged wiring.
  • Measure resistance: With the sensor disconnected, measure its resistance at room temperature and compare to Hansgrohe's chart. An open or shorted sensor must be replaced.
  • Reassemble and test: Reconnect the sensor, restore power, and run a short regeneration. If E07 returns, the control board input may be defective and require replacement.
