Possible Causes
Incorrect flow meter calibration, Flow sensor partially blocked causing erratic pulses, Electrical noise on sensor wiring, Control board firmware issue
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before accessing internal electronics.
- Clean and inspect flow meter: Remove and clean the Hansgrohe flow sensor/turbine as described for E04 to ensure smooth rotation.
- Check cable routing: Ensure the flow sensor cable is not bundled tightly with mains power cables, which can induce electrical noise. Reroute if necessary.
- Reset meter settings: Using the user interface, access the installer menu (refer to Hansgrohe manual) and verify the programmed meter size and capacity match the installed flow meter. Correct any mismatched settings.
- Firmware reset: Perform a factory reset of the control (if supported) and re-enter hardness and capacity settings.
- Test usage readings: Run a known volume of water and compare the displayed usage. If readings remain erratic and E10 persists, replace the flow meter or main control board.
