How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and close inlet valve. Depressurize the system before opening any twin-tank components.
- Check tank status: Verify which tank is in service and which is in regeneration according to the display. If both appear in the same mode, synchronization is lost.
- Inspect shuttle valve: Access the twin-tank shuttle or selector valve. Check for debris or resin beads preventing full movement. Clean and lubricate with manufacturer-approved lubricant if specified.
- Verify sensors: Check the tank position or reed sensors for secure mounting and proper alignment with magnets or cams.
- Check wiring: Inspect the harness between the twin valve assembly and the main control board for damage or loose connectors.
- Test operation: Restore power and initiate a manual tank changeover. If E19 recurs, the twin valve assembly or control board may need replacement.
