How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Immediately close inlet and outlet valves and relieve pressure before attempting any repair. Protect nearby electrical outlets from water.
- Dry and inspect: Wipe the area dry and identify the exact leak point (tank neck, fittings, or valve body).
- Check tank-to-valve connection: Remove the control head from the resin tank. Inspect the large O-ring for cuts, flattening, or debris. Replace the O-ring if damaged and lubricate lightly with silicone grease.
- Inspect tank neck and valve body: Look for cracks or deformation. Replace the resin tank or valve head if cracked.
- Reassemble carefully: Reinstall the valve head straight and hand-tighten according to Hansgrohe torque recommendations. Do not overtighten.
- Pressurize slowly: Open the inlet valve slowly while checking for leaks before fully restoring service.
