Possible Causes
Salt bridge in brine tank, Blocked brine injector, Stuck brine valve, Air leak in brine line
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and avoid using metal tools inside the brine tank to prevent damage.
- Check for salt bridge: Push a plastic rod down through the salt. If you feel a hollow space before reaching water, break up the bridge and remove loose chunks.
- Inspect brine line and fittings: Ensure the brine hose is fully submerged in the brine well and that all fittings are tight to prevent air leaks.
- Clean injector: Remove and clean the injector and nozzle in the Hansgrohe valve head to restore suction.
- Manual brine draw test: Start a manual regeneration and observe whether the brine level drops. If not, the brine valve or injector assembly may need replacement.
