Harvey softener display is on but buttons do not respond or respond intermittently

Safety: Unplug the unit before removing the front panel.

• Dry the panel: If the unit is installed in a damp area, gently dry the front panel and allow it to sit unplugged for several hours.
• Check connector: Remove the front cover and reseat the keypad ribbon cable on the control board.
• Test each button: After reassembly, power up and test each key. If some still fail, the keypad membrane is likely worn.
• Replace keypad: Install a new Harvey keypad or display assembly as specified for your model.

Replacing the keypad is usually straightforward but must be done carefully to avoid damaging the ribbon cable or board.
