Brine tank has very little or no water before regeneration, and salt does not seem to dissolve.

Safety first: Unplug the unit and place it in bypass before removing brine lines or valve components.

• Check brine line: Straighten any kinks and ensure the line is not obstructed.
• Clean refill flow control: Remove and flush the refill flow control. Clear any iron or sediment.
• Verify refill time: In programming, confirm the brine refill time is appropriate for the salt dosage and tank size.
• Inspect brine valve piston: Disassemble the brine valve section and ensure the piston moves freely and seals correctly. Replace worn O-rings.
• Test refill: Manually advance the valve to the refill step and observe water entering the brine tank. Adjust as needed until the correct pre-regeneration water level is achieved.
