Possible Causes
Turbine not spinning due to debris, Meter cable disconnected, Meter type mis-set in programming, Control board not counting pulses
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Place the unit in bypass before removing the turbine or opening the valve head.
- Check display for flow: Run water and see if the display shows flow. If not, suspect the turbine or wiring.
- Clean turbine: Remove the turbine and rinse away sand, iron, or scale. Ensure it spins freely when blown on.
- Inspect wiring: Confirm the turbine sensor cable is firmly connected to the control board and not damaged.
- Verify meter programming: Ensure the correct meter type is selected in the installer menu.
- Replace components: If cleaning and wiring checks do not restore metering, replace the turbine assembly or control board as indicated.
