How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before inspecting electrical components.
- Check mains connection: Verify that the power plug and socket are secure and not overheating. Avoid using loose adapters or extension cords.
- Inspect power supply: Open the control housing and locate the low-voltage power supply board. Look for burnt components, bulging capacitors, or discoloration.
- Check backup battery: If the Idrobase model uses a coin cell or small battery for memory backup, test its voltage with a multimeter. Replace if below specification.
- Secure connectors: Reseat all low-voltage connectors between the power supply and main control board.
- Surge protection: If power issues persist, install a surge protector on the mains supply. If E09 continues, replace the power supply module or main control board.
