Possible Causes

Bypass valve left in bypass position, Faulty Idrobase bypass manifold, Internal service port blockage, Incorrect installation of inlet/outlet connections

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Close inlet valve and relieve pressure before adjusting bypass components.

  • Check bypass position: Locate the Idrobase bypass valve (usually a three-valve or single lever assembly). Ensure it is set to "Service" or the equivalent icon, not "Bypass".
  • Verify plumbing: Confirm that the inlet and outlet connections are not reversed. Compare to the arrows on the valve body.
  • Inspect bypass manifold: If the lever feels loose or does not fully engage, remove the bypass assembly and inspect internal seals and sliders for damage or misalignment.
  • Internal blockage: If the bypass is correct but no flow occurs, the service port inside the control valve may be blocked. Remove the valve head and inspect the top distributor and service channel for resin beads or debris.
  • Restore flow: Reassemble, set bypass to service, open inlet slowly, and check for normal flow at a downstream tap.
