Possible Causes
Stuck salt level float, Fouled salt sensor, Broken sensor wiring, Incorrect sensor calibration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power. Use care when reaching into the brine tank.
- Verify salt level: Confirm that there is adequate salt in the brine tank and that it is not bridged above the water level.
- Inspect salt float/sensor: Locate the salt level float or electronic sensor in the brine tank. Ensure it moves freely and is not buried in hardened salt.
- Clean sensor: Remove the sensor and clean off salt crusts with warm water. Avoid using sharp tools that could damage the sensor body.
- Check wiring: Follow the sensor cable to the control board and ensure it is intact and properly connected.
- Reset alarm: After cleaning and reconnection, reset the E19 alarm. If it returns despite correct salt level, replace the salt level sensor assembly.
