Possible Causes

Dripping tap or toilet downstream, Faulty flow sensor registering false pulses, Incorrect leak detection threshold, Small leak in plumbing

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: No internal work is required initially, but disconnect power before handling sensors.

  • Check for actual leaks: Close all taps and appliances. Observe the Idrobase display for flow indication. If flow is shown, inspect the house plumbing for dripping fixtures or running toilets.
  • Adjust leak settings: In the controller menu, review the leak detection sensitivity and time thresholds. Increase the threshold if set too low for the installation.
  • Inspect flow sensor: If no leaks are found, clean and inspect the flow sensor/turbine for sticking or vibration-induced movement.
  • Secure piping: Ensure that the inlet and outlet pipes are firmly supported to reduce vibration that could cause false flow readings.
  • Replace sensor if needed: If E20 persists with no real flow, replace the flow sensor assembly.
