Softener uses salt much faster than expected

• Review regeneration frequency: Check if the unit is regenerating more often than necessary. Adjust capacity and reserve settings.
• Check hardness setting: Ensure raw water hardness is correctly entered. An exaggerated value will cause premature regeneration.
• Adjust brine refill: Reduce brine refill time to match the resin volume and desired salt dose.
• Inspect brine valve: Confirm that the brine valve fully closes after refill and does not allow continuous water flow into the brine tank.
