• Power reset: Unplug the softener for at least 5 minutes to allow capacitors to discharge, then reconnect power and check if E09 clears.
• Factory reset: Enter the installer or service menu and perform a factory reset according to the Judo manual. Re-enter all system parameters (hardness, capacity, regeneration time, etc.).
• Check surge protection: Ensure the unit is connected through a surge-protected outlet to prevent future corruption from voltage spikes.
• Board replacement: If E09 persists after reset and reprogramming, the Judo main control board is likely defective and should be replaced by a qualified technician.
