Possible Causes

Incorrect or missing Judo flow restrictor, Blocked injector or drain line, Bypassed or mis-plumbed installation, Flow sensor misreading during regeneration

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Isolate the softener and depressurize before removing any flow components.

  • Verify plumbing: Confirm the inlet and outlet are connected to the correct ports on the Judo valve. Cross-connection can cause abnormal flows.
  • Inspect flow restrictors: Check that the correct Judo drain and brine flow restrictors are installed and not drilled out or missing. Replace with genuine parts if altered.
  • Clean injector and drain: Remove and clean the venturi injector and drain line as described for E04 and E07.
  • Check flow sensor: Ensure the turbine or flow meter used during regeneration is clean and correctly wired. Replace the Judo turbine flow meter sensor if readings are erratic.
