Salt Bridging / False Salt Level
Judo softener frequently runs out of salt or shows low salt even though tank appears full

Possible Causes
Salt bridge forming above water level, Use of inappropriate salt type, High humidity causing salt clumping, Misadjusted or dirty salt level sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Wear gloves when breaking salt bridges to avoid injury.
- Check for hollow space: Push a stick down through the salt. If you suddenly break through into empty space, a bridge is present. Break it up and remove large chunks.
- Use correct salt: Use high-purity tablet or pellet salt recommended by Judo, not rock salt or fine table salt.
- Improve environment: Reduce humidity around the brine tank if possible, or keep the lid closed securely.
- Clean salt sensor: If equipped, clean the Judo salt level sensor as described in the sensor fault section.
