Possible Causes
Damaged tank O-ring, Cracked Judo valve head housing, Over-tightened or cross-threaded tank neck, Debris on sealing surfaces
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power, close inlet/outlet valves, and depressurize by opening a tap before loosening the valve head.
- Dry and inspect: Wipe the area dry and observe where water reappears to confirm the leak source.
- Remove valve head: Carefully unscrew or unclamp the Judo valve head from the resin tank. Support the head to avoid stressing pipes.
- Inspect O-ring and neck: Check the large tank O-ring for cuts, flattening, or chemical damage. Clean the tank neck and valve base sealing surfaces.
- Replace O-ring: Install a new genuine Judo tank O-ring, lightly lubricated with silicone grease. Refit the valve head, ensuring it is straight and evenly tightened.
- Pressure test: Slowly reopen the inlet and check for leaks under pressure.
