Possible Causes
Salt bridge in brine tank, Blocked venturi injector, Brine line disconnected or blocked, Brine valve not opening during regeneration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Wear gloves and eye protection when working with salt brine. Do not open pressurized components.
- Check for salt bridge: Push a broom handle gently down through the salt. If you hit a hollow space before the bottom, break up the bridge and remove loose chunks.
- Verify water in brine tank: After a regeneration, there should be water at the bottom of the tank. If it is dry, the refill stage is not working; inspect the refill valve.
- Clean venturi and brine line: Remove and clean the Judo venturi injector and flush the brine hose as described in the brine fault section.
- Manual brine draw test: Start a manual regeneration and watch the brine level. If it does not drop, the brine valve may be stuck and the Judo brine valve / injector assembly may need replacement.
