Softened water tastes salty after regeneration

Safety first: Do not drink water that tastes strongly of salt until the issue is resolved.

• Check programming: Verify that the fast rinse and slow rinse durations match Judo's specifications. Increase rinse time slightly if needed.
• Inspect drain line: Ensure the drain hose is not kinked or blocked, and that the drain flow is strong during rinse stages.
• Verify flow restrictor: Confirm the correct Judo drain flow restrictor is installed and not modified. An incorrect restrictor can alter rinse flow.
• Flush system: After adjustments, run several minutes of water at a tap to flush residual brine from the plumbing.
