Buttons on the Lindsay control panel are hard to press or do not respond intermittently

Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the faceplate.

• Clean surface: Wipe the keypad with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
• Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the cover and reseat the keypad ribbon cable on the board.
• Replace keypad: If buttons remain unreliable, install a new Lindsay keypad/faceplate assembly.
