• Inspect drain flow control: Remove and clean the drain flow control orifice in the valve body. Debris here can severely limit flow.
• Verify water pressure: Confirm household water pressure is adequate. Very low pressure can reduce backwash effectiveness.
• Test regeneration: After cleaning, run a manual regeneration and confirm a strong, steady flow at the drain during backwash and rinse.
