Possible Causes
Failed drive motor, Dead control board, No power to unit, Keypad not responding
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Verify power is off before opening the control panel or valve head.
- Check power and display: Ensure the display is on and responsive. If not, troubleshoot power and control board as described in the no-power entry.
- Attempt manual regen: Press and hold the REGEN button. If nothing happens, suspect keypad or control board failure.
- Inspect drive motor: Remove the top cover and check the drive motor wiring and mounting. Test for voltage at the motor during a regen command (qualified persons only). Replace the motor if it does not run when powered.
- Replace control board: If the motor is good but never receives a command, the electronic control board is likely defective and should be replaced.
