Possible Causes
Blocked injector, Air leak in brine line, Stuck safety float closed, Brine line disconnected inside brine well
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Place the unit in bypass and disconnect power before opening the injector or brine line. Wear gloves.
- Clean injector: Remove the injector nozzle, throat, and screen from the control valve and clean thoroughly as described in other brine‑related faults.
- Check brine line connections: Ensure the brine tube is firmly connected at both the control valve and the safety float assembly. Replace any cracked tubing.
- Test float: Lift and lower the safety float. It should move freely and open when down. If stuck in the up (closed) position, clean or replace the float assembly.
- Test draw: After reassembly, start a regeneration and observe the brine level for 10–15 minutes during brine draw. It should drop steadily.
