Display is on but very dim or flickering

Safety: Unplug the unit before opening the control housing.

• 1. Check transformer: Verify the transformer output is within specification. Replace if low.
• 2. Inspect for moisture: Look for condensation or water marks on the control board. Correct any leaks and dry the area thoroughly.
• 3. Reseat connectors: Ensure the display ribbon cable or connector is firmly seated on the control board.
• 4. Replace control/display: If the display remains dim or flickers, replace the electronic control board or display module, depending on your North Star model design.
