How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and place it in bypass to restore water to the home.
- 1. Attempt manual advance: Restore power briefly and try to manually advance the cycle using the control buttons. If it will not move, proceed to mechanical checks.
- 2. Inspect motor and gears: Remove the valve cover and check the drive gear set and valve drive motor for damage.
- 3. Check rotor for binding: Remove the rotor & disc and inspect for debris or warping. Replace the rotor & disc kit if damaged.
- 4. Replace faulty components: Install new motor/gears as needed. If the valve moves freely but the control does not advance the cycle, replace the electronic control board.
