Possible Causes
Stuck brine float, Excessive refill time, Cracked brine tank, Loose brine line connection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit and place it in bypass. Brine is corrosive; protect floors and wear gloves.
- 1. Stop the leak: Remove excess water from the brine tank with a bucket or pump.
- 2. Check float and air check: Remove the brine well cover and ensure the float moves freely and the air check is not jammed open.
- 3. Inspect brine tank: Look for cracks near the bottom or around fittings. Replace the brine tank if damaged.
- 4. Verify refill settings: Confirm the brine refill time is set to factory specs. Reduce if it has been increased.
- 5. Tighten brine line fittings: Ensure all brine line connections at the valve and brine well are snug and sealed.
