Possible Causes

Actual plumbing leak downstream, Stuck open faucet or toilet, Faulty flow meter reading constant flow, Control board misinterpreting pulses

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Be prepared to shut off the main water supply if a major leak is suspected.

  • 1. Check for running fixtures: Inspect toilets, faucets, and outdoor spigots for continuous flow. Repair any leaks.
  • 2. Observe flow reading: With all fixtures off, check the Rayne display. If it still shows flow, the meter may be faulty.
  • 3. Inspect flow meter: Clean the turbine and check the sensor cable as described for E07.

When to call a technician: If no leaks are found and the meter continues to report flow, professional diagnosis of the meter and control board is needed.
