• 3. Inspect flow meter: Clean the SoftPro flow meter/turbine to ensure it is not sticking or spinning excessively due to turbulence.
• 4. Look for cross-connections: Ensure there is no plumbing loop that sends softened water back through the meter, such as incorrect connections on a recirculation system.
• 5. Monitor usage: Use the controller's usage history to confirm actual water use. If regenerations still seem excessive, consult a technician to review system sizing and programming.
