• 1. Check for leaks: Inspect toilets and fixtures for continuous running that could trigger frequent regenerations.
• 2. Review programming: Lower hardness or increase capacity within Sterling's recommended range for your water conditions.
• 3. Verify flow meter: Watch the display with all fixtures off; if it shows flow, the flow meter may be faulty or there is a hidden leak.
• 4. Replace flow meter: If phantom flow is detected, replace the flow meter assembly.
