E14 error and the unit reports communication fault between display and main board

Safety: Disconnect mains power before opening the control housing.

• Inspect connectors: Remove the front panel and locate the multi‑pin connector between the display board and the main control board. Reseat both ends firmly.
• Check cable condition: Look for pinched, cut, or burnt sections of the cable. Replace if damaged.
• Visual inspection: Examine both boards for obvious damage such as burnt components or corrosion.
• Test with replacement module (if available): If you have access to a known good display module, swap it to determine whether the fault lies in the display or main board.
