Tapworks softener uses very little or no salt over several weeks

Safety: Standard precautions only; unplug before internal work.

• Check regeneration schedule: Ensure the unit is set to regenerate based on usage or time and is not in vacation mode.
• Verify flow meter: Run water and confirm the display shows flow. If not, clean or replace the Tapworks turbine flow meter.
• Inspect brine draw: During regeneration, confirm the brine level drops. If not, clean the injector and brine line.
• Check for salt bridge: Break any salt bridge as described in the salt bridging section.
