- Set correct time: Ensure the time of day is set correctly and that the regeneration time (e.g., 2:00 AM) is in the future relative to current time.
- Check regen mode: In the installer menu, verify the unit is set to metered/demand or time clock mode as desired, not manual-only.
- Verify flow meter: Run water and confirm the display shows flow and remaining capacity decreasing. If not, troubleshoot the flow meter / turbine.
- Monitor for power loss: If frequent outages occur, consider using a small UPS or ensure the control board retains settings properly. Replace the board if it frequently loses time.
