Display shows ERR COMM or COMM ERROR on Wi-Fi/Bluetooth enabled US Water Systems softeners

• Reseat module: Remove the control cover and locate the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth or communication module. Gently unplug and reinsert it to ensure a solid connection.
• Check antenna and signal: Make sure any external antenna is properly attached and that the softener is within range of your router.
• Update firmware/app: Use the US Water Systems app or web interface to check for firmware updates. Update both the controller and app if available.
• Factory reset communication: Follow the manual to reset network settings and re-pair the device with your network or app.
• Replace module: If ERR COMM persists, the communication module may be defective and should be replaced.
