Softener uses no salt over weeks of operation, but no alarms are shown

Safety first: Disconnect power and close the inlet valve before working on the brine system.

• Check salt level change: Mark the salt level and monitor over several days. If unchanged, the unit is not drawing brine.
• Break salt bridge: Probe the salt with a plastic rod to detect and break any bridge. Remove loose chunks and ensure salt can dissolve into the water below.
• Inspect brine float and well: Remove the brine well cover, lift the float, and clean any salt deposits. Ensure free movement.
• Check brine line: Verify that the brine hose is firmly attached at both ends and not cracked or leaking air.
• Clean injector: Remove and clean the injector/venturi on the valve head. Reassemble and run a manual regeneration to confirm brine draw.
