Possible Causes
Blocked flow meter turbine, Faulty flow sensor in Water2Buy valve head, Wiring issue between flow sensor and PCB, Incorrect flow meter setting in programming
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off water and power before removing any valve components.
- Check programming: Enter the installer menu and verify that the correct flow meter type and capacity are selected for your Water2Buy model. Refer to the user manual for the correct setting.
- Clean flow meter: Remove the flow meter/turbine housing from the valve head (usually on the outlet side). Inspect the turbine wheel for debris, scale, or iron buildup. Clean with warm water and a soft brush until it spins freely.
- Inspect O-rings: Check and lubricate O-rings with silicone grease before reassembly to prevent leaks.
- Test signal: With water on and power connected, run a tap and watch the display. The flow indicator or remaining capacity should change. If not, the sensor or wiring may be faulty.
- Replace sensor: If cleaning does not restore operation, replace the flow meter sensor or the complete flow meter assembly specific to your Water2Buy model.
