Possible Causes
Blocked venturi/injector, Air leak in brine line, Stuck brine valve in Water2Buy head, Cracked brine line fittings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off water and power. Place the unit in bypass if possible.
- Check brine level: Ensure there is adequate water in the brine tank to cover the air check at the bottom of the brine well.
- Inspect brine line: Remove the brine line from both the brine tank and the valve head. Check for cracks, loose fittings, or hardened tubing. Replace if damaged.
- Clean venturi/injector: Remove the venturi assembly from the Water2Buy valve head. Soak in warm water with vinegar to dissolve salt and iron deposits. Use a soft brush or toothpick to clear small orifices (do not enlarge them).
- Check brine valve: Inspect the brine valve plunger and O-rings for wear or sticking. Clean and lubricate with silicone grease if accessible per the service manual.
- Reassemble and test: Refit all parts, restore water and power, and start a manual regeneration. During brine draw, you should see the brine level slowly drop. If not, further internal valve service or head replacement may be required.
