WaterBoss softener causes intermittent bursts of air at faucets

Safety: Air in lines can cause sputtering; open faucets slowly.

• Bleed air: Open the highest and lowest faucets in the home to purge air from the system.
• Check brine line connections: Ensure all brine line fittings are airtight. Replace cracked tubing or loose fittings.
• Inspect well system (if applicable): Low water level or air entrainment on the suction side of the well pump can introduce air. Consult a well professional if suspected.
• Verify drain termination: Ensure the drain line does not allow air to be siphoned back into the softener.
