Safety: Unplug the transformer before touching electrical components.

• Isolate the source: Place your hand lightly on the transformer and then on the valve/motor area (with power off) to determine where the noise originates.
• Check motor operation: If the motor hums but does not turn during regeneration, stop the cycle and inspect for mechanical binding in the valve.
• Replace noisy transformer: If the transformer is hot and buzzing loudly even when the unit is idle, replace it with a WaterBoss-approved transformer of the same rating.
• Secure components: Tighten mounting screws for the transformer and motor to reduce vibration.
