Possible Causes
Unplugged or failed Watersoft power adapter, Tripped GFCI or breaker, Loose low-voltage connector at control board, Internal fuse blown on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not open the power adapter; replace it if faulty.
- Check outlet: Test the outlet with another device to confirm power. Reset any tripped GFCI or breaker.
- Inspect adapter: Ensure the Watersoft transformer is firmly plugged into the outlet and the low-voltage plug is fully inserted into the control head.
- Try another adapter: If available, test with a known-good adapter of the correct voltage and current rating.
- Check internal fuse: If comfortable and per Watersoft instructions, open the control housing and inspect any onboard fuse. Replace only with the same type and rating.
If the unit still does not power on, the main control board is likely defective.
