Water leaking from around the brine tank or brine well

Safety first: Disconnect power and place the unit in bypass. Mop up spilled brine to prevent corrosion and slipping.

• Inspect tank for cracks: Examine the Watersoft brine tank walls and bottom for visible cracks or punctures. Replace the tank if damaged.
• Check brine well and fittings: Ensure the brine well tube is seated properly and its cap is tight. Tighten any loose bulkhead fittings.
• Test safety float: Verify the float shuts off water at the correct level. Clean or replace if it allows overfilling.
• Overflow routing: If your tank has an overflow fitting, ensure the hose is not blocked and is routed to a safe drain.
