Door alarm sounds even though the door appears closed, no error code on display

Safety: Unplug before adjusting or replacing the door switch.

Steps:

• 1. Press door firmly: Gently press the door at the switch location. If the alarm stops, alignment is the issue.
• 2. Adjust door alignment: Realign hinges so the door closes fully against the frame.
• 3. Check magnet and switch: Ensure the magnet in the door and the reed switch in the frame are directly opposite each other. Replace a missing or weak magnet.
• 4. Replace switch: If alignment is correct but the alarm persists, replace the AEG door switch/reed sensor.
