Door will not close properly or pops open slightly after closing

Safety: Have someone assist when adjusting doors to prevent dropping.

Steps:

• 1. Check for obstructions: Ensure shelves and bottles are not protruding and interfering with the door.
• 2. Inspect gasket: Look for twisted or compressed sections. Warm the gasket gently with a hairdryer and reshape if minor distortion is present.
• 3. Adjust hinges: On many AEG models, the top and bottom hinges are adjustable. Loosen mounting screws slightly, realign the door so it sits square, then retighten.
• 4. Replace gasket: If the seal is cracked or no longer elastic, replace it with the correct AEG door gasket.
