Possible Causes
Loose communication harness between UI and main board, Damaged data cable, Electrical noise or surge damage, Faulty microcontroller on one of the boards
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect mains power before handling internal wiring or boards.
Steps:
- 1. Access both boards: Remove the front control panel and rear main board cover.
- 2. Inspect communication cable: Identify the multi-core cable or ribbon that links the UI to the main board. Check for kinks, cuts, or burn marks.
- 3. Reseat connectors: Unplug and firmly reconnect both ends of the communication cable.
- 4. Check for corrosion: Look for green/white deposits on connector pins. Clean gently or replace the harness if badly corroded.
- 5. Replace harness: If physical damage is found, install a new OEM AEG communication harness.
- 6. Board replacement: If E19 persists with a good harness, one of the boards (UI or main) may be defective and require replacement.
