Possible Causes
Blocked internal drain hole, Disconnected or cracked drain tube, Overflowing or misaligned condensate tray, Excessive condensation from poor door seal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance before working near water or removing panels.
Steps:
- 1. Locate water source: Check inside the cabinet bottom and rear for water trails leading from the drain area.
- 2. Clear internal drain: Use a soft pipe cleaner or flexible wire to gently clear the drain hole. Avoid puncturing the liner.
- 3. Inspect rear drain tube: From the rear, locate the tube leading to the condensate tray. Ensure it is securely attached and not cracked or kinked.
- 4. Check condensate tray: Make sure the tray above the compressor is correctly positioned and not overflowing due to dirt or misalignment. Clean if necessary.
- 5. Door seal: Replace a damaged gasket to reduce excess condensation.
