Wine cooler displays F2 and interior light does not operate correctly

Safety: Unplug the unit before working on the lighting system.

• Check light behavior: Confirm whether the light is always off, always on, or flickering. This helps narrow down whether the issue is with the switch, LED module, or control board.
• Inspect LED module: Remove the interior light cover and check the LED board or bulb for burn marks or discoloration.
• Verify connections: Ensure the light harness is securely connected to the LED module and to the main control board.
• Replace LED module if faulty: Install a new OEM LED light assembly compatible with the Amana wine cooler. Do not substitute non-approved bulbs or modules.
• Check door switch: If the light never turns off, test the door switch for proper operation and replace if stuck closed.
• Control board check: If a new LED module and good switch still result in F2, the LED driver circuit on the main control board may be defective and require board replacement.
